who is oren's appointment as ambassador a problem for? Shouldn't it be a bigger problem for Israel since he represents them yet has US citizenship? Shouldn't the Israelis fear dual loyalty?
What about the hundreds of foreign service officers, married to foreign nationals, some of whom, serve in government posts?
If the US does not have a problem with someone serving government who was born elsewhere, why should it care if someone was born in the US and served elsewhere?
Wasn't Nabil Fahmy born in the US? Do you know how many Egyptian diplomats were born in the US?
What a stupid article-
Except that an US kowtowing to Israel has ruined its diplomacy, pushed it into war in Iraq, ruined state coffers and fundamentally threaten its long term interests. It's not any country.
