المنتدى | Qatari columnist complains "what does Egypt want from Darfur?", says Egypt is trying to start a separate track for negotiations even though Qatar's track working well. The Egyptians certainly hate seeing Qatar getting busy in their near-abroad.

re Gods to .... I love it! Someone should compile a volume of "Guy blows into Cairo, writes color piece that's already been written for every other outlet" articles. High point of this piece, of course has to be the quote from the "long time guide at the Egyptian Museum"! I only had a quick glance at what else Teddy's been up to while in the Great Moldy Mango Mother of the World, but my sense is that it can't be too long before he discovers the houseboats, and then maybe he'll need a haircut! Now that would make a great piece.
