Turn right at the end

State of Avigdor Lieberman

The above drawing is from a collection from the art project Turn Right at the End by the Israeli artist Sivan Hurvitz, who imagines Israel's non-democratic future. More about the project at the Forward.

Coastal Israelis, who didn't live neither in USSR nor in USA, don't have even a tiny idea about what is democracy and what is dictatorship. They also don't understand anything about the state they live in - just take it for granted and get depressed. The "project" of this guy is just laughable, it just shows how he's brainwashed and refuses to see the reality: the cult of Rabin, ultra-Left controlling most key institutions on the state on taxpayer's account, including education, justice and media, the weak and humiliated police.
As an artist he seems to be completely measurable, no match to bright anti-Semitic cartoonists in Arab media.
