Blogger Wael Abbas held at Cairo airport

Egyptian mega-blogger Wael Abbas is being detained at Cairo Airport after his passport was confiscated last night. This is the first time this happens to Wael, who is currently holding a sit-in with a banner at the airport requesting his passport back. He's been Tweeting his situation - below are his updates as of 8:40am Egyptian time.

Update: Wael tweets at 10:40am:

Maybe the 2 latest comments came from the Egyptian version of Chinese 50 cent guys: people surfing on Chinese blogs and forums and spreading pro-gov opinions. It's claimed that they earn 50 cent for each comment.
I hope that Wael won't be handicaped by the lost of his laptop and stress due to this...unwelcome commitee.

Army ordered to stay out (or else aid would be cut off?). Let Mubarak's thugs create disorder and violence. Who ordered the army? US? Who ordered the US , Israel? Has there been a lot of quiet dialogue between US and Israel? It is well known that all key politicians cow-tow to Israel before embarking on their political career.
Food for thought.
(Thought of food probably tipped the scales over in favor of this revolution. - Courtesy Wall Street speculative binge. Who are the most influential players in wall street?)
