I still have no answer to this very basic question: what's in the mind of those pro-regime intellectuals such as Abdel Aziz Shady - do they really have no shame? I guess they believe in part of the "this people is not ready for democracy" logorrhea at least, and don't mind wrapping it up in a good amount of hypocrisy and nonsense. I mean, as a wanna-be academic you have to somehow feel concerned by the ethics of your profession - you can't entirely sell your soul to the devil. Or can you?
