Who throws a shoe? Good ole shoe, that's who.

Via POMED.

I won't point to all the shoe stories out there, which mostly point out the obvious: "shoe incident highlights cataclysmic perception of Bush administration," which doesn't even begin to do justice to this strange little grinning man who decided he would wreak havoc thousands miles away from where he lives and whose country (or at least its leaders) still believe they have a right to do just that. Yankee, will you just go home?

Personally, as a funny aside on shoegate, I much prefer this clip from the great, prophetic movie Wag The Dog - which let's remember preceded much of the Clinton and Bush era warmongering.

Just thought you would be interested to know that my company, Strategic Foresight Group, a political think tank based in Bombay, has recently come out with a report that measures the various costs of war in the Middle East - ranging from 1948 to potential conflicts in the future.

The report is heavily fact based and contains certain startling conclusions that would make for good reading and writing material.

We have received support from political circles but would like to have opinions form authors, academia and youth.

For more information on the 'Cost of Conflict in the Middle East' go to www.strategicforesight.com

Well, he couldn't have thrown a brick; they seach people for weapons...which means all press confernces will be in socks from now on. I hear that the Iraqi police/prison guards are beating the journalist when they should be applauding him.
