Geez, going by Arabist standards, the only people who qualify as pro-Palestinian are Hamas, Iran and American college students who do an ISM field trip.

Would you expect anyone competent? Bush would never suggest anyone who would actually look at the conflict in an even-handed way.

Soon Hamas will be off that list too when they come to some agreement to recognize Israel's right to exist (at least temporarily)

I believe Hamas is asking in return that Israel stop attacking gaza. I don't see this happening now that fatah is gone and people are fleeing which makes killing Hamas militants a lot easier.
