A song for Haditha

An amateur video, apparently made by US marines in Iraq, endorsing the killing of civilians, is being investigated by the US military. The video shows a US marine singing about gunning down members of an Iraqi woman's family after they confront him with automatic weapons. You can watch the video here.

ya issandr,

the song/vid is about a marine who walks an iraqi woman home, whereupon she is shot by her brother & father, upon which he pulls her sister in front of him, who is also shot & killed by her male relatives, whereupon he kills the brother & father.

not quite as black/white as you make it out to be. if you have the link - why not take the trouble to actually listen to the song?

there are even the complete lyrics posted in the comment section of the video link you provide.

Wow, raf. This adds a completely different insight into the song indeed.

Hi Hossam,

I am not sure Raf has it right. I have another version of the lyrics at makesomenoise-zazou.blogspot.com, and they do not indicate that the father and brother shoot the girl- they show the guns, the marine pulls the little sister in front of him ( I assume they point the guns at him finally, although I am not completely sure) she dies in the shooting, and them he blows everyone away,

(by the way, I told elendil any of the bloggers against torture can use the ceci n'est pas la torture pict if they want.)
