On Sunday, there is a protest at Midan Lazoghly - which is where State Security HQ are - to protest torture in Egypt. It coincides with the International Day for Victims of Torture.
The advertisement says the protesters will bid farewell to Egypt's interior minister, General Habib al-Adly. The Kifaya offshoots (which seem to number dozens and growing) hold al-Adly responsible for the referendum violence last month. Yet, to the best of my knowledge, I have not heard al-Adly is going anywhere.
The protest begins at 430pm and will last for an hour. It will be followed by a conference at the Journalist's Syndicate to make declarations against torture.

More today (hopefully) about yesterday's intersting protest in Shubra. Naturally, pictures will be included.

Is it Sunday or Monday? You mentioned Sunday in the title (which would make sense, Int'l Day for Victims of Torture) and Monday in the text...*confused*
Much appreciate your keeping us in the loop
It is on Sunday - sorry for the typo.
Josh, the protest is on Sunday alright. The conference afterwards is held in the Syndicate of Journalists. You can find the full announcement and a bigger banner at http://www.manalaa.net/farewell_adly" rel="nofollow">Manal and Alaa's.
