Bush NYT interview

Bush gave an 40 minute interview to the NYT which was published this morning as a sort of prelude to the State of the Union Address next week.

Apparently, he does not have time to read Foreign Affair articles - even if written by Condi. He also ready to use Iraq as a jumping point for democratizing the Middle East. But the interview, and hence the article, were light on details as to the nature of his plans.

It is the must-read of the day, I suppose.

Apparently, I unintentionally but unexcusably violated the Chatham House Rules of a diplomatic meeting and therefore it had to be pulled.......

Sorry about that but ethical standards have to be maintained.
