Monday, March 2, 2009 at 11:30AM - An abbreviation for the “Digest of Internet Information, Groups and Other stuff,” Diigo is a social annotation service that lets users add highlights and notes in situ to any web page. These overlayed comments made through Diigo can be made either public or private; other Diigo users can then read public comments and reply/interact to comments. Diigo combines aspects of social bookmarking, full-text search, annotations, tagging, and sharing. A browser plugin allows you to share your annotations directly with others, and you can save annotated pages to numerous other bookmarking services as well.

- استمراراً لأزمة اعتصام عمال الشركة المصرية لتجارة الأدوية منذ ما يقرب من أسبوعين، قرر عمال الشركة وباقي العاملين بفروع المحافظات البالغ عددهم 5 آلاف عامل تنظيم وقفة احتجاجية حاشدة اليوم ــ الأحد ــ للاعتراض علي قرار بيع أرض الشركة علي كورنيش النيل والذي يهدد مستقبلهم، نظراً لاقتراب موعد فتح مظاريف مناقصة بيع الأرض والمقرر له 4 مارس القادم.

اعتصام 400 عامل بشركة أطلس احتجاجا على الخصومات « تضامن
اعتصم حوالي 400 عامل في شركة أطلس العامة للمقاولات والاستثمارات العقارية - فرع غمرة - احتجاجاً على ما يتعرضون له من خصومات في الإضافي، حيث حددت الإدارة نسبة 10% من قيمة الإضافي خاضعة لتقدير الرئيس المباشر، يستطيع الخصم منها في حالة عدم التزام العامل.
وما يحدث على الأرض هو الإساءة في استخدام هذا الحق، حيث يتم الخصم من العمال بشكل دوري وبدون سبب حقيقي.
أيضا، طالب العمال بزيادة بدل الوجبة الذي يبلغ 26 جنيه شهرياً، فيما اشتكى العمال من أن عدداً منهم لا يحصل على هذا البدل من الأصل على الرغم من ضآلته.
العمال يضطرون للجوء للاعتصامات للحصول على حقوقهم، بما أنهم أشتكوا أكثر من مرة للإدارة دون طائل.
هذا وقد اعتصم العمال في عام 2005 للمطالبة بزيادة الدخل الأمر الذي ضغط على الإدارة وجعلها تستجيب بصرف نسبة 40% إضافي على الأجر الأساسي.
تجدر الإشارة إلى أن عدد عمال الشركة يقدر بـ1083 عامل، وهي تابعة لقطاع الأعمال العام.
اعتصام عمال شركة آسيك لحماية البيئة للمطالبة بالعلاوة السنوية « تضامن
- عتصم حوالي 700 عامل من شركة آسيك لحماية البيئة (آسينبرو)، للمطالبة بالحصول على العلاوة السنوية، فالعمال، الذين يعملون في ثلاث مواقع، لم يحصلوا على العلاوات الدورية في الفترة من 2000 إلى 2004، بسبب تعثر الشركة، ثم توقفت العلاوة الدورية مرة أخرى هذا العام. وقد اعتصم العمال في الشهر الماضي لنفس السبب وفضوا الاعتصام على وعد من الإدارة بصرف العلاوة هذا الشهر، وهو ما لم يحدث.

- انتظم 60 مذيعا ومخرجا وفنيا فى التليفزيون المصرى فى وقفة احتجاجية أمام باب 4 ظهر يوم الأحد احتجاجا على قرارات التطوير التى أطاحت ببرامج الكثيرين منهم وفتحت الباب أمام المشاركات من الخارج، وشاركت مذيعات التليفزيون فى الوقفة للمرة الأولى فى تاريخ ماسبيرو، ورفع المشاركون لافتات تندد بقرارات سوزان حسن، رئيس التليفزيون، وتطالب بإقالتها وتحملها المسئولية عن تشريدهم وإلغاء برامجهم.

If Samy can claim he didn't know of any demands, it's because the union officials refused to transmit the demands and grievances of the workers.

ولا ً- إستمرار الإضراب ثلاثة أيام إعتبارا ً من الثلاثاء القادم وحتى الخميس بنفس الأسلوب الحضارى مع إنهاء مصالح الجماهير وعدم الأضرار بمصلحة أبنائنا الطلاب إنما هو موجه ضد شخص وزير التعليم.
ثانيا ً- إلغاء الإعتصامات المقررة بالجيزة وأمام الوزارة إحتراما ً للمصلحة العليا للأمن العام.

وستكون مطالبنا هى التأكيد كمطلب أساسى :
أولا ً- إقالة وزير التعليم لعدم الصلاحية.
ثانيا ً- إقالة وكيلة الوزارة لقطاع الأمانة العامة.
ثالثا ً- أحقية جميع العاملين بالتعليم فى الكادر دون إستثناء وإلغاء الاختبارات المهنية لمن علموا العالم العربي والإسلامي والذين تخرج على أيديهم عباقرة كالدكتور زويل ومجدى يعقوب وغيرهم.
رابعا ً- أحقية جميع العاملين فى التعليم فى حافز الإثابة.

That number, along with the user's name, mobile phone number, and e-mail address must be entered online. Individuals cannot access the Internet until they have first received a text message on their mobile phone with this personal data and have verified the information.
The measure appears to be based on an agreement between two companies (Mobinil Mobile Service Co. and Link Telecommunication Company), owned by Egyptian businessman Naguib Sawiris, on the one hand, and the state security apparatus, on the other. - For generations cops have been able to do as they please, to beat, hurt, torture and sometimes even kill people for any or no reason at all, and no jury in the land would convict them. Since about the Rodney King beating, video technology has been allowing a peek at the truth, and it couldn't be uglier. Their victims, probably millions over the decades, have been forced, by the cops' high-priced lawyers and judges and juries prejudiced for the police, into silence. Just one more victim of the police state.
