SS Prosecutor orders Khaled Hamza's release
Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 11:17PM
Ibrahim el-Hodeiby called me to confirm that the State Security Prosecutor has ordered today the release of our dear friend Khaled Hamza, the editor of Ikhwan Web..
Of course this does not mean necessarily that Khaled will be released right away, as we all know and experienced Mubarak's pigs respect for the "law." Let's hope the release doesn't get stalled.
It's again a sad day for Egypt, with those military tribunals verdict. Ibrahim would like to thank all leftist bloggers and activists who expressed their solidarity with the MB detainees, and he's hoping this support will continue...
And remember ya shabab, if we stay silent in front of this, we will end up in the same cage tomorrow.. My solidarity goes to the MB and political detainees in Mubarak's gulag..
