Solidarity protest with detained Socialist reporter

Journalists and activists demonstrated yesterday in front of the Press Syndicate to demand the release of El-Badeel journalist Mohamed Abdel Latif, who was detained by Mubarak's Gestapo in Mansoura after he distributed anti-police torture leaflets..

Besides his job as a correspondent for the daily El-Badeel, Mohamed is also a Socialist blogger, and was the youngest Kefaya detainee in Tora Prison last year during Mubarak's crackdown on Cairo's Spring...
